A New Website!

A New Website!

by William Lulow

Everyone knows that the world is changing very rapidly these days. It is certainly no surprise that a five-year-old computer is just about ancient! Well, I began to feel that way about my website. I have had pretty much the same one since around 2007. That, all of a sudden, seemed way too old. So, I began the seemingly huge task of revamping the one I had and creating a brand new design which I hope looks much more modern. I would certainly welcome any comments. I have to say that the WordPress folks were extremely helpful! They made the creation of new files and the new look fairly straightforward, once I got the hang of it. Always had to remember to save the new work, however.

It bears re-stating, that these days, if you are working with any type of computer or computer program and something is not showing up the way you intended, YOU are doing something wrong, not the machine! I believe that once you understand this, working with computers or any other electronic devices becomes much easier! (The same, I might add, goes for digital cameras. That’s why I always have my students bring their camera manuals with them to class).

What I have done is to make the navigation a bit easier and the images displayed a bit larger. Here are some screen shots:

Since all websites should function well with all devices, this new site even looks better on my iPhone. Also, the CONTACT page has been updated. I have also included a separate gallery of my art work which is easier to find, and because the images are larger, much easier to examine.

So, I hope you enjoy looking at my imagery through the new site.

Again, any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

William
